Digital Equity Team Lead (Acorn Project)

Louise is our Digital Equity Team Lead for the ACORN Project, which covers three areas of work: digitally empowering Gloucestershire's VCS organisations and volunteers, shaping digital policy based on lived experience, and improving digital access for those most in need across the county. Louise's role focusses on one-to-one work and wider workshops to train organisations, volunteers, and members of the public so that they can contribute to sustainable and digitally-included communities.

"The ACORN project has reached so many people so far. I’m excited to learn from the communities about what they need, and expand our offer to support them,” said Louise.

Louise previously worked for us from 2018 to 2021 as our Community Wellbeing Service Project Manager, and from 2024 as our Grants and Administration Officer and then as our ACORN Project Digital Equity Navigator.

When not at GRCC, Louise enjoys singing in a choir, learning French, and spending time with her labrador.
