Come to our Community Climate Action Event - Thursday 21st September
GRCC and the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) will be jointly hosting a Community Climate Action Event in Cheltenham in September.
This event is aimed at Parish and Town Councils and communities. If you are considering doing any form of community-led planning, this event is for you!
At the event, we will
- outline the opportunities for communities to connect better with their local farmers, to build social, economic and environmental resilience
- help you to understand how your parish fits within the wider landscape and how to join up with local partnerships to identify challenges and opportunities
- share with you a parish plan / community-led consultation planning tool which will help you to consult your community to identify the issues that are important to them, then create an action plan, then find partners to help you achieve the goals you have identified.
The event is free to attend, but places are limited and booking is essential. Lunch and refreshments are provided. It runs from 10.30am to 1pm at The Pavilion, Hatherley Lane, Cheltenham GL51 6PN. You can book your place via Eventbrite here.
We are grateful to the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation for funding this event.
