At GRCC, our Rural Housing Enabler team believes everyone deserves a place to call home. We work with communities to enable affordable housing to be delivered, such as social rent, affordable rent, and shared ownership, so local people can stay, move in, and prosper in the areas they love.
How We Support Your Community
Listen: We base ourselves in your community to listen to your views on how affordable housing can help sustain your community and how you think this is best approached to better suit the needs.
Person centred: We run surveys to find out exactly what affordable housing your area needs.
Empower: We give locals a powerful voice to shape housing that is community-led.
Guide: We help you confidently navigate the local planning system.
Include: We ensure vulnerable and under-represented groups are heard.
