Trustee

Owen is an HR professional with over 30 years of experience working in the corporate, SME, and charitable sectors. He has held HR leadership positions and membership of senior leadership teams with both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Actively involved in the voluntary and charitable sectors for a number of years, Owen is currently also a trustee of Arts Therapies UK, where he has helped the charity to rebrand, expand, and reorganise. 

Having lived in a rural area on the edge of the Forest of Dean for nearly 20 years, Owen has experience of the challenges that such communities face, including rural transport, community activities, wealth disparities, and an aging population.

"I hope that I shall be able to add value to GRCC by contributing my perspective, pragmatism, and constructive challenge," said Owen, who joined the GRCC board of trustees in 2024.
