The Gloucestershire Volunteering Collaborative (GVC) is a group of representatives from the local Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, plus representatives from health, local government, employers and employees, police, and fire services, all working together strategically to improve the way volunteering works in Gloucestershire.

Our VCSE Advice Officer Guy Dobson co-ordinates the GVC, whose members support and promote all aspects of volunteering in Gloucestershire, with the simple aim of making Gloucestershire the best place in the UK for volunteering! The GVC has recently developed the  Employer Supported Volunteering Guide, to promote and encourage Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) schemes in the county.

Another GVC member, Gloucestershire VCSE Alliance , hosts and manages the  Go Volunteer Glos website, which matches potential volunteers with volunteer vacancies, and also runs the annual  Gloucestershire Volunteer Awards .
