GRCC is looking to recruit a new colleague with a can-do attitude to play an active role in our work around community resilience, climate and environment related work.  The ideal candidate will have experience of working with communities in areas related to environment and resilience, parish and town councils, and/or voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations, and in and with a wide range of communities.

You will need to be adaptable, well organised, and an excellent communicator in order to engage and lead our Flood Warden programme, Emergency Planning work, and work with communities on developing their projects and ideas.  You will also need to be able to present to a variety of audiences from community to strategic partners.

This is a full-time post (36 hours per week) based at GRCC's offices in Gloucester.  We operate a flexible working day and some home working is possible.

Post holders will be required to travel to meetings countywide and occasionally out of the county.  Evening and weekend work may be required, for which equal time off in lieu is allowed.
