The Cotswolds Community Wellbeing Service is a free and confidential service which offers support to help improve your health and wellbeing. If you are feeling lonely, struggling with your mental health, experiencing change (e.g redundancy, retirement) or want general help in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, then our service can help.

Anyone over the age of 16 living in the Cotswold area, or registered with a Cotswold GP, can access the Community Wellbeing Service (CWS).  You can refer yourself into the CWS or ask your GP to make the referral for you. Other health professionals can refer, as well as voluntary groups, community members, friends, family and neighbours.

There are a number of ways to refer. You can call 07738 106384 or email cws.grcc@nhs.net. Once we receive a referral, you will be contacted via telephone by one of our team.

The service offers one-to-one support provided by an assigned a Social Prescriber based on your location. They will work with you to create a plan suited to your needs and what works best for you. They may signpost or refer you to activities and groups of interest that are available in your area.

The Cotswold CWS is part of the countywide project commissioned by the NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and Gloucestershire County Council.
