GlosHub Event - An Introduction to Community-Led Housing

It’s what GlosHub is all about but what really is Community Led Housing?

GlosHub will be running a session on just that on 19th March where you can come along to find out more about how you can help tackle your communities housing problems through Community Led Housing. This session will be led by our Community-led Housing Enabler, Chloe Maliphant, and will give you the low down on all things community-led housing.

The event will firstly delve into what Community Led housing actually is and then the group will be split into breakout rooms which will give a chance to discuss what housing issues you have in your community and how you might be able to solve this problem. Not only this, but breakout rooms offer a good opportunity to socialise and network, something which has become all too scarce during the pandemic.

The full agenda for the afternoon will include:

14:00 – Introduction

14:10 – Presentation on What is Community Led Housing

14:30 – Break out group (Discuss in groups ‘What housing issues do you have in your community and how could Community Led Housing help to solve this problem?)

14.40 – feedback

14.50 – Who are Community Homes GlosHub and how can we help?

15:00 – Q&A

15:15 – event closes
