Big Energy Saving Week 2020

Big Energy Saving Week 2020 is next week and is a national campaign to help people cut their energy bills and get support they need.

Every year, Citizens Advice, champions the Big Energy Saving Week and this year it does so again, providing many resources to help people save. They say on their website, ‘We all have the power to save energy, money and the environment through everyday actions. Simple changes such as switching energy supplier or tariff, accessing discounts or grants, and making homes more energy-efficient can make a big difference.’

It is perhaps even more important this year that we all make a conscious effort to save energy in order to help the environment as well as ourselves. Head to the Citizen’s Advice website where you’ll find their energy price comparison tool and advice and tips.

They are also hosting several events in the week which are designed to help people in one-to-one sessions. Full details can be found on their website but we picked out the Gloucestershire events:

-         Stroud - Stroud DC, Ebley Mill, Stroud - Monday 20th January 2020, 9:30am – 3pm

-         Stroud - 6 Brunel Mall, London Road – Tuesday 21st January 2020, 10am – 4pm

-         Gloucester - Inclusion Gloucester – Tuesday 21st January 2020, 10am – 3:30pm

-         Cheltenham – Shopping Centre – Wednesday 22nd January 2020, 10am – 3pm

-         Cirencester - Cotswold DC, Trinity Road – Thursday 23rd January 2020, 9:30am – 3pm
