GRCC are pleased to announce this road safety event which will be taking place on the 14th November. Continue to read this article to find out what’s in store for the event.

Many communities have raised queries over time regarding road safety and speeding and this event provides the opportunity to learn more about how to do this as a community.

The event will also look at other parishes that have already begun the process in tackling the issue of speeding and how they have been successful.

This event will take place on Thursday 14th November at 6pm – 8pm at the Westwoods Centre in Northleach and GRCC would be delighted if you joined us, especially if your parish or town council has been discussing this issue in recent meetings.

It will also provide an opportunity for you to network with key policy makers, including Gloucestershire Highways and the police and share with you how communities in Stroud district have approached this issue using innovative technology. This new approach has attracted the attention of national media including Radio 4 and the BBC as well as with our local newspapers and agencies.
