Five things to do with the kids this summer

Here at GRCC we know the struggle of finding things to do with the kids once they’ve finished school. Luckily, we’ve done our research so you don’t have to. Here are five events that are happening around Gloucestershire this summer which could be perfect to fill the long summer days.

1.     Rainbow Bubbles Science Day @ Sir Thomas Rich Sports Centre

This fun science day has it all with rainbows, fizzing, big bubbles (including one you can go inside!), smelly bubbles, touchable bubbles, and even a chance to make your own scientific bubbling sweet to take home with you.

The event will be held at Sir Thomas Rich Sports Centre in Oakleaze, Gloucester on the 19th August and costs £25.

The trail has a variety of activities to work through such as taking part in bird poo analysis and dressing up as a researcher.

The event is running until 1st September and is accessible to anyone upon admission. Some activities have set times so be sure to check these first.
