Community Led Plans (CLPs)

If you're looking for a broader form of community plan, focusing on community action, a CLP (also known as a Parish or Town Plan), can be used to set out your vision, priorities and community actions for the next 5 to 10 years. Your CLP should contain:-

• An outline of your community’s history, its current situation and its future aspirations
• A summary of the issues you are facing and how you want to tackle them
• Evidence of your needs
• A description of how your community has helped shape your plan
• A realistic action plan to tackle community priorities.

Our database of CLPs contains a summary of actions identified by communities. The action button at the side of this page will take you to the database.

You can also read our case studies and see examples of Parish Plans to find out how to create a plan that works for your community by clicking our action button.
