GRCC offers a professional specialist service directly to the volunteers who run village and community halls for the local community.

Support and training provided on health & safety requirements, policies and their implementation
Funding, training and support to set up a web-site for your hall

Information and advice on Fire Safety
Signposting for more specific advice on Kitchen Hygiene
Providing training, e.g. how to write a business plan
Organising regular Village & Community Hall Network Events free for hall management committee members to attend
Giving advice on accessibility issues

Acting as a conduit for government consultation
Cascades relevant changes in the law concerning village and community halls
Working with other organisations to give a more general strategic overview for village halls
