Elin has worked for GRCC since 2003, following a 20 year teaching career and a strong involvement in local voluntary and community organisations. In 2006 she was appointed to GRCC's Senior Management Team and, since 2011, has been managing The Rural Community Accelerator Project, providing inspiration and practical support for communities to move forward projects which keep their villages and towns vibrant and thriving.
Together with her GRCC colleagues, Elin leads training on community engagement, project development and management. She is also a licensed mentor and an assessor for PQASSO and ACRE Quality Standards and uses her facilitation skills and experience to aid organisational development in voluntary sector organisations in Gloucestershire and nationally.
Elin line manages six members of GRCC staff including the Rural Advice team and the Community Buildings adviser
