Barbara joined GRCC 10 years ago coming from a career in sales, advertising and event management. She began work as County Project Adviser for the In Touch project, offering support, advice and information to older peoples groups across Gloucestershire and is now Assistant Chief Executive for the organisation, as strategic lead for older people and with direct responsibility for GRCC projects, including the Gloucestershire Village and Community Agents scheme and Gloucestershire LINk. She has managed the In Touch project since 2002 and leads on GRCC’s media and marketing, including the regular double page spread in ‘Cotswold Life’ magazine.
