A practical toolkit to help Gloucestershire’s rural communities retain and improve their local services

Resources and policy templates for voluntary and community organisations

The GRCC Performance Improvement for All Project was supported by the National Lottery and ran from April 2008 to March 2011. Along with providing bursaries and free consultancy support, the project created a free social networking site containing information, policy templates and case studies for community organisations and this is staill available as a legacy of the project.

A range of resources are available from the GRCC Village and Community Halls Adviser, Barbara Pond. This includes free information leaflets covering a variety of subjects such as health and safety, business planning and managing employees.

Policy position papers

Taking a look at how rural communities are addressing key policy areas; backed up with case studies they set out the issues and the solutions developed by communities, for communities.
