Wishing Well

The theme for 2008/2009 was Health and Wellbeing, with a series of five ‘Wishing Well’ events delievered in different areas of the county.

These were information days that focused on the themes of health and wellbeing. Attendees were able to visit a number of different of exhibition stands, including county and local organisations. There was also the opportunity to have a free hand and neck massage.

In addition, a range of speakers and demonstrations were arranged, including a Tai Chi demonstration with the opportunity to take part.

A local choir was invited to sing which highlighted the healthy benefits of singing. Those who attended the events were also invited to enjoy free refreshments including a buffet lunch.

The five events were well attended and we received positive feedback from both the exhibitors and attendees.
