Hallmark 3

Community and Social Awareness

Hallmark 3 concerns the more developmental side of running a village or community hall. Evidence of energy efficiency measures and policies that are in place will also be included in this stage of the scheme.

This section also concentrates on how the immediate and wider community gain access to and around the building in order to ensure that the hall and the services provided are in line with the Disability Discrimination Act and benefit the older and disabled people and marginalised members within a community.

It is not possible to receive a Hallmark 3 award unless Hallmark 2 has already been awarded.
