Some key points from the report are provided below:

• To date, 339 projects have been identified and researched which are delivering the GRES.
• These projects have a total investment value of over £133million.
• 9 projects have an investment value of over £1.5million each and together account for 72% of the funding. They include affordable housing build, development projects (e.g. canal development) and agri-schemes.
• The funding for the remaining 330 projects is £38million, 33% of which comes from private or charitable sources, 28% from public sources such as the Lottery, Defra and LSC, and a further 18% from the South West RDA.
• The SWRDA Rural Renaissance Programme has invested £3.1 million in 72 projects in rural Gloucestershire.
• The SWRDA Modernising Rural Delivery programme funds 21 projects in rural Gloucestershire.
