GRES Objectives

The four strategic objectives of the GRES are:

  1. To sustain and support the growth of successful and competitive businesses in Rural Gloucestershire.

  2. To increase economic inclusion in Rural Gloucestershire, particularly in the most deprived areas.

  3. To strengthen rural communities in Gloucestershire.

  4. To realise fully the economic potential of Gloucestershire’s rural environment whilst protecting the exceptional quality of the countryside for future generations.
