Funding Advice

GRCC provides proactive and reactive funding advice to voluntary and community groups across Gloucestershire as well as hosting the Gloucestershire Funding Advisers Network (GeFAN).

We employ a team of rural advisers who help community groups research grant making organisations using specialist knowledge of funder requirements and history of successful bid making.

GRCC advisers and project staff are able to help community groups to:

• source funding opportunities for their projects
• write funding strategies and business plans
• link the project aims with the objectives of the funders.
• help to develop community projects to become ‘funding ready’
• advise on consultation techniques
• develop project management skills

From time to time, GRCC hosts to offer practical funding advice through workshops and promote greater interaction between funders and community groups. Any such events will be posted on the GRCC events page.
