Why do a Parish and Community led Plan?
Through the development of the parish and community led plan database, at a local and national level, communities will be able to link their action plans with strategic priorities at neighbourhood, district, county, regional and national level. This will enable greater interaction and partnership between communities, authorities and other organisations to develop projects and move them forward.
What are Parish and Community led Plans?
A parish and community led plan is a complete action plan which covers issues that concern your community. Through consultation, issues are identified and prioritised, and through partnership they’re achieved.
A parish and community led plan sets out a vision for the future of your community. It will include social, economical and environmental aspects. The plan can be used to influence agencies, strategies and relates to the local development framework.
