Voluntary and Community Sector Support in Cheltenham

Information and development support to voluntary groups, charities, and community organisations in Cheltenham

GRCC works with groups and organisations to enhance and develop their confidence, leadership and skills in order to develop their capacity and to provide services within the community.  We have plenty of experience in helping build strong, healthy foundations for organisations.

Angela Gilbert is a member of our advice team and is based at the Community Resource Centre in Grove Street.  She can offer your group support to develop skills in the following areas:

  • Setting up an organisation
  • Governance (including trustee support and strategic planning)
  • Funding and fundraising
  • Policy development
  • Volunteer management
  • Communication and marketing

Connect with colleagues in the sector through our bi-monthly Cheltenham VCS Forum.  Meet our elected VCS Representatives who reflect the voice of the sector at the Cheltenham Partnership.

If you have responsibility for volunteers in your organisation then come along to the Volunteer Managers Network.  This meets quarterly and looks at topical issues within volunteer management and shares good practice.

Cheltenham Youth Work Network

The network is open to all youth workers (paid or volunteer) in Cheltenham.  The agenda includes sharing good practice, exploring collaborative working opportunities and topical youth work news, resources and ideas.  To become part of the network please contact Angela.
