Horsley Community Shop was officially opened to the public on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May 2009.

Stroud MP David Drew, local author Sue Limb, Horsley Community Shop Committee chair Allan Cauldwell and committee member Patricia Rowan were there to cut the ribbon and welcome Horsley Community Shop's first customers.
