ACRE publishes draft response to revised licensing act
ACRE, the umbrella body for Rural Community Councils, has drafted a response to the revised Licensing Act 2003.
ACRE's response was informed by consulting with village hall management commitees and others, making use of village hall forums where available - including Gloucestershire's regular forum organised by GRCC adviser Barbara Pond.
The revised act questions the need to have a designated premises supervisor and personal licence holder for community premises.
ACRE's draft response can be found in the right hand panel.
If you would like to discuss this issue or make any comments please contact GRCC's Village and Community Hall Adviser Barbara Pond on 01452 528491 or email bpond@grcc.org.uk
