GRCC Training and Events for 2018

Our 2018 calendar is starting to fill up with training events and networking events, as well as social activities for older people:

The official launch of an affordable housing development at Churcham will be on 12th January, at which GRCC's Rural Housing Enabler will be joined by Churcham Parish Council, Two Rivers Housing, and Forest of Dean District Council to explain how the development was achieved, starting with a housing needs survey in 2012/13.  Full details here.

A County Village and Community Halls Network event on 24th January at Northleach will be looking at Data Protection Changes and the 'Digital Village Hall'.  Find out more here.

Facing the Future on 1st February will be a chance for small/medium-sized voluntary and community organisations in Gloucestershire to consider new trends and opportunities to aid sustainability.  More details to follow.

There will be a Community Shops Network Event here at GRCC on 5th February, with The Plunkett Foundation in attendance to provide advice and answer questions.

Our Parent Champions project is holding Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Awareness Workshops in Gloucester and the Forest of Dean targeted at practitioners and volunteers who work with parents, children and families in Gloucestershire.  Venues are to be finalised, but the details of dates and purpose of the workshops are on our events calendar.

Remembering Sport, our social group for older men, will be returning to The Lion's Den at Kingsholm at the end of January.  Dates through to March have been set and are on the calendar now.

Keep checking our Events page for the latest information on events, training, and other activities that GRCC has going on.
