Funding opportunity via the Gloucestershire Community Foundation

The Youth Social Action Fund is being funded by the Big Lottery and the Office for Civil Society, and is being delivered by Community Foundations across the country.

The aim of this grant is to raise the level and quality of youth social action, increasing social action by 50% by 2020.  It is intended to deliver social action opportunities for young people aged 10 to 20, or 25 for disabled people, when the programme begins.

Social action involves activities such as campaigning, fundraising and volunteering, all of which enable participants to make a positive difference to their communities.  The Youth Social Action Fund will provide grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 for each project.

Applications close on 25 September 2017.  Decisions on the projects to be funded will be made by mid-November.
