Social Prescribing - measuring its impact

Survey for VCS organisations in Gloucestershire

The Social Prescribing Evaluation commissioned by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is due to be completed and published by the end of September.

The VCS (Voluntary & Community Sector) Alliance feel it is important they report on the impact of social prescribing and, particularly, to play a part in shaping future provision.

Some Gloucestershire organisations have already provided Jem Sweet (VCS Social Prescribing Officer) with verbal feedback which he has disseminated at relevant meetings with the CCG; it would be especially helpful to back this up with survey data and any other specific information which can be provided.

The VCS would therefore urge all VCS organisations in Gloucestershire to complete their short survey by Monday 15th August.

Jem will be meeting the researcher soon after the survey ends.  He is keen to incorporate these findings and Jem would really like to provide him with the fullest picture from the VCS perspective.
