Snowshill Parish Housing Needs Survey Report

Gloucestershire Rural Housing Partnership (GRHP) is a forum comprising organisations keen to take practical steps in moving forward the provision of affordable housing for people in rural Gloucestershire.  Members include the four rural local authorities as well as housing associations, and GRHP funds the position of Rural Housing Enabler (RHE) at GRCC.

In September 2018, GRHP made the decision to take a strategic approach to conducting housing needs surveys across the county and so a programme of surveys has been compiled.  The purpose of a housing needs survey is to investigate and identify the affordable housing needs of people who live in, work in, or have close family ties to a particular parish.

Questionnaires were sent by post address to the occupiers of the 88 dwellings in Snowshill Parish during the week beginning Monday, 11 February 2019.  A freepost envelope was included for the return of completed surveys, and residents were asked to return the questionnaires within two weeks of receipt.  GRCC's RHE has produced the Housing Needs Survey Report for Snowshill Parish based on the responses to the survey.
