VCSE Workshop: Growing Your Community Fundraising

11th February 2019 from 10.00 - 13.00

The Pavilion, Hatherley Lane, Cheltenham GL516PN

Today's Community Fundraising offers the chance for people to do something they love, and to do it for a cause they believe in.  Facilitated by Community Fundraising Specialist Helen Trenchard (find her here on LinkedIn) this half-day workshop will walk you through how to attract, manage and earn the loyalty of supporters raising money through community efforts.  Featuring Community Fundraising tips, tools and success stories from across the county, we hope you'll join us for this interactive session.

This event is particularly aimed at smaller organisations without marketing experience.

The aims of the workshop are:

  1. to inspire and equip attendees to grow their community fundraised income by:
    • sharing success stories from charities of all sizes, including those in Gloucestershire;
    • offering simple frameworks and tools to attract, support and retain fundraising supporters;
    • facilitating idea generation and helpful connections amongst those in the room.
  2. to leave attendees feeling more confident, enthusiastic and ready for the task ahead of growing Community Fundraising.

To book your place please complete the GRCC Training & Learning booking form and return it to or post to GRCC, Community House, 15 College Green, Gloucester GL1 2LZ.

The workshop costs £50 (+VAT) per person, or £10 (+VAT) with a GAVCA Legacy Fund bursary.  Workshop fees must be paid in advance.
