The next forum for groups undertaking a parish or community plan in the Stroud district will take place on the 22nd of September.

The theme is:

Carbon Neutral Communities: How to deliver local level action

• How does your parish plan take carbon neutral issues into account?
• How can community groups make a difference?
• What kind of environmental/carbon neutral projects can be realistically achieved?
• How are these projects planned and delivered ‘on the ground’?
• Where can you go for support, advice AND FUNDING?

Parish plan forums and the accompanying newsletters are aimed at helping the parishes in the Stroud District at whatever stage of the parish plan process they may be at.

They encourage the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience, enable clusters of parishes to link together, and identify and celebrate success.

Each forum also includes speakers and workshops.
