Elin has worked for GRCC since 2003, following a 20 year teaching career and a strong involvement in local voluntary and community organisations. In 2006 she was appointed to GRCC's senior managment team.

Elin is the Project Manager of the National Lottery funded GRCC Performance Improvement For All (PIFA) Project and is a mentor and assessor for PQASSO and ACRE Quality Standards.

Elin also manages the Gap Analysis research project, gathering information on projects in Gloucestershire to demonstrate their contribution to the rural economic strategy.

Together with her GRCC colleagues, Elin leads training on community engagement, project development and management.

Elin also line manages seven members of GRCC staff including the district based rural advisers and the Village and Community Halls Adviser.
